The security of one of Germany's top Internet providers,
the national telephone company's T-Online, has been cracked
by two 16-year-old Germans who made off with hundreds of
bank account details.

The pair, who boasted of their exploit to the German magazine
CT, said it was child's play getting past Deutsche Telekom's
"absolutely primitive" protection on the provider.

Although they said they destroyed the financial data without
using it, T-Online's director, Eric Danke, said the incident
was "very serious" and the service was going to develop a new,
stronger access program.

The hackers said getting past the provider's password block
was as easy as meddling with scores in computer games, adding
that the first thing they did was play online games for free.

There's a compelling reason to master information & news.
Clearly there will be better job and financial opportunites.
Other high stakes will be missed by people if they don't
master and connect information. -- Everette Dennis
